Seege Vega is a Las Vegas based screenwriter, director, actor, and novelist.
Seege attended college at the University of Nevada with Musical Theatre and Violin scholarships. There she worked under the tutelage Dr. Jim Bernadi and Dr. Bob Dillard on such projects as Into the Woods, Camino Real, and Angels in America. The latter for which she created the Angel special effects make-up.
Upon graduation, Vega returned home to Las Vegas and immediately began working in the theatre. Favorite venues she has worked with are Las Vegas Little Theatre, Super Summer Theatre, and A Touch of Mystery. She has also directed in Palm Springs and Reno. In May 2016, Vega was chosen as one of 40 directors from all over the world to attend the Directors Lab West at the Pasadena Playhouse in Southern California. Seege has also been part the the L.A. Writer’ Center’s online playreading series with roles in “Strange Fruit” parts 1 and 2 by John Bastian, and “Howling Wolf” by Nathan Singer.
Her work has been showcased at the 24 Hour Theatre, Insomniac Project, St. Vitus Night, and the Vegas Fringe Festival. She was a finalist in the 2019 Script Pipeline TV Show Idea Contest. Her shorts “Do You Want To Date My Avatar” and “Recycled” were semifinalists for the 2019 ABC Discovers. Her pilot, MOB RULES, was a second rounder for the LaunchPad Pilot Competition. Her feature, Daughter of Fire, was chosen as an official selection for the Pasadena International Film Festival.
Seege owns and operates RearView Vegas Productions. She is a member of the L.A. Writer’s Center and the Stage Directors and Chorographers Society.
